An appeal from Chief Justice, Prime Minister, President and Army Chief of Pakistan to take serious action. MQM Canada strongly condemned the continued target killing of MQM workers at Karachi Pakistan by criminal gangs and terrorists. The Members of UFC strongly appealed to the Chief Justice, to Prime Minister, President and Army Chief of Pakistan to take serious note and intervene to stop such continued target killings of MQM workers at Karachi Pakistan. They have also shown their serious concern about the law and order situation in various parts of Pakistan where over hundreds of innocent citizens are being killed in target killing and suicide bombing in normal routine. Members have drawn the attention of Federal and Provincial interior Ministers to this very serious situation which is rapidly going as worse than ever.
At the end they have rewarded prayer for those who have lost their precious lives in target killings and shown sympathies’ to their family members.
Members UFC MQM Canada has paid homage and high tribute to the martyrs of massacre of 30th September 1988 in Hyderabad and 1stOctober 1988 in Karachi. Members rewarded fatiha and performed pray from Almighty Allah to rest their soul in peace and heaven. They also showed sympathies to their family members and love one.
Members strongly condemned the act of violence and heinous conspiracy that was plotted by enemies of peace and against MQM. They mentioned that 30th September will be remembered in history as Black Day and will never be forgotten.

Mr Ibad-ur-Rehman visited MQM Canada Units during his Cross Canada organizational
Tour. Mr. Ibad visited Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto East, Toronto West, Windsor, Saskatoon,
Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver units, met MQM workers and discussed organizational
matters and local issues.
During his visit Mr. Ibad congratulated MQM Workers from all units of Canada and
praised their hard work for organizational and community work which made MQM Canada’s
platform the most disciplined and the largest platform of Pakistani Canadians across
Canada. He said that it was all possible only because of the inherent philosophy
and charismatic leadership of MQM Leader Mr. Altaf Hussain.
He said that today we can proudly say that MQM Canada is the only Platform of Pakistani
Canadians who is organized from east coast to west coast. In his speeches Mr. Ibad
emphasised that this is a first responsibility of Pakistani Canadians to respect
and obey the laws of the land wherever we live and make ourselves and our next generation
a productive tool of the Canadian society.
Mr. Ibad said that workers of MQM Canada have always been found in the front line
when they were called in the need of humanitarian work and to help the helpless.
He mentioned 9/11 relief efforts, Hurricane Katrina, Kashmir Earthquake and many
other Catastrophic events where the workers of MQM Canada have participated to help
the victims at the first call of their leader Mr. Altaf Hussain. Mr. Ibad said that
the relief efforts of MQM workers are not only appreciated but also set an example
for others.

delegation of MQM Canada comprising of members of Central Organizing Committee and
Toronto Chapter, met with the Consulate General of Haiti at Toronto, Dr. Eric A.
Pierre, to offer their condolences on the loss of thousands of lives during the
recent earthquake which encompassed the whole country of Haiti. The delegation expressed
their deep grief and sorrow on behalf of members of Pakistani community living in
Canada on the calamity. They also extended a condolence message from the leader
of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain to the Government of Haiti and the families of the victims
of the recent earthquake in which he has expressed his deep grief, sorrow and concern
over the loss of lives and assets of people of Haiti. The delegation of MQM Canada
also explained their role in the worldwide relief efforts for Haitian victims and
assured that according to the teaching of MQM Leader Mr. Altaf Hussain MQM workers
are and will always be present for the help of humanity wherever it is needed. They
also assured the Consulate General that the leader and workers of MQM are standing
with the people and Government of Haiti at this time of test.

MQM Canada Congratulates the Leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain and the Workers of MQM on the 32nd Anniversary of APMSO Communication & Media Cell, MQM Canada; June 11, 2010: The inception of APMSO 32 years ago was a promise to change the life of the common man in the country. APMSO has set the example where the younger have taught elders the way of doing politics. This was said by the Patron In-chied of MQM North America Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui in a statement issued today on the 32nd anniversary of the inception of APMSO.
The Patron of MQM Canada Ibad Rehman and the office bearers of MQM Canada congratulated the leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain who is also the founder of APMSO and its first chairman, and the workers of MQM on the anniversary and said that the formation of APMSO has changed the whole political interface of the country. They also said that APMSO was the seed that gave birth to a humongous tree which is the shelter for all oppressed and downtrodden of the country from the scorching sun of tyranny, injustice, feudalism, inequity, discrimination, and religious exploitation shining on the country for ages since the inception of the country.
The office bearers of MQM CANADA also said that as a routine the political parties give birth to their student wings, but in the case of APMSO, the younger have given birth to the elders in the form of MQM that has proved to be the Salvation Army for the 98% underprivileged stratum of the country. They also said, while referring to the leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain that APMSO and MQM are not two different phenomena and both are the manifestation of the vision of a young man who launched a revolution in the form of APMSO and MQM when he was merely 25 years of age. The office bearers of MQM Canada reiterated that the MQM Canada, its workers, and supporters are determined to complete the mission that the leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain started 32 years ago in the form of APMSO.
The Patron, while announcing the dissolution of the setup, paid high tributes to the former office-bearers of MQM Canada and said that the untiring efforts of these people have made it possible for the message of MQM to reach the nook and corner of Canada. Ibad Rehman also announced a 15-member Interim Reorganization Committee that includes Iqbal Qamar (Greater Toronto), Kashif Omer (Montreal), Naveed Kamal (Ottawa), Asif Qazi (Windsor), Qadeer Yaar Khan (Edmonton), Pervaiz Iqbal (Calgary), Mohammad Yousuf (Saskatoon), Ferhan Siddiqui (Vancouver), Shakil Akhter (MQF), Sam Rizvi (Political Action Committee), Ashraf Ali (Media Cell), Shahid Raza Khan (Gahwarah-e-Adab), Iqbal Bahadur (Sports Wing), and Aamir Waheed (Sun Charity).
According to the details provided, in the first phase of the reorganization, the office bearers of the satellite units of MQM Canada will be elected within a month and then, in the second phase, the office bearers of the subsidiary wings of MQM Canada will be elected in the next 90 days. According to the further details the next annual convention of MQM Canada will be held in Ottawa in the last days of August instant, when all these office-bearers will be announced. At the end of the telephonic conference, the Patron-in-Chief of MQM North America Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui endorsed the steps and announcements made by the Patron MQM USA and Canada towards the reorganization of MQM Canada, paid high tributes to the workers of MQM Canada, and wished good luck in the reorganizational efforts. The office-bearers of MQM Canada have said that MQM Canada is deeply saddened and is standing by the side of the former City Nazim (Mayor) of Karachi at this time of test.
