Strict measures needed to control Talibinization in Karachi MQM Canada severely condemned the attack on Christian Community
in Taiser Township at Karachi by Taliban Terrorist. MQM Canada
strongly appeals to the authorities to take strictest and
immediate actions against Taliban and their terrorist activities
in the town.
The news of attack on a Christian community in Taisar Township,
Karachi was seriously noticed as an alarming sign by Pakistani
community in Canada. These attacks on the one hand malign the
peace and harmony in the tranquil society of Karachi on the
other hand send message globally to defame Islam that teaches us
to protect all minorities living in the country.
Therefore MQM Canada has shown their sympathies and full support
with Christian Community who had been victimized by recent
attack of Talibans last week. MQM Canada also appeals to the

| MQM Canada sadly condemns the killing of Furqan Hashmi, Member
District Committee of Bannu, NWFP by unknown terrorists. Furqan Hashmi was kidnapped on Dec, 25th. 2008 and his mutilated
body was found on Jan.
4th.2009. He was killed by slaughtering and was also shot in the
head. He left behind a widow
and four children. He ran a bookstore and was a social worker
also.
All office bearers, workers and sympathizers of MQM Canada are
in shock and agony over the
dreadful murder of Furqan Hashmi. MQM strictly condemns the ever
expanding activities of

SUICIDE BOMBING AT MARRIOT HOTEL IN ISLAMABAD. OVER SIXTY INNOCENT
CITIZENS AND FOREIGNERS WERE KILLED AND MORE THEN TWO HUNDREDS WERE
SERIOUSLY WOUNDED. Toronto Canada: September 20, 2008 MQM Canada condemns in the
strongest possible term for the deadly suicide bombing at
Marriot Hotels today in Islamabad that left over sixty dead and
over two hundreds seriously wounded. The Members of MQM Canada
considered this as naked terrorism, "an unacceptable act" and
cowardly killing of innocent citizens and foreigners who have
victimized by the terrorists.
Such suicide attacks are well planned organanized crimes.
Terrorists want to destroy the democratic process, integrity and
solidarity of Pakistan. Members of MQM Canada strongly request
to President Asif Zardari and Prime Minister Mr. Yousuf Raza
Jilani for immediate investigation and bring those involved

against MQM on June 19, 1992 and thousands of innocent citizens
and workers were killed.
We have firm believe that sacrifices would not go in waste. The
world has realized now that state brutalities and atrocities
failed to undermine the MQM. By the grace of God,
today MQM’s Sun is shining around the world. We must pay high
reward and tribute to our Martyrs for their scarifies, we also

Leaders in National Assembly of Pakistan. The have also shown

MQM Canada celebrated the 24th Foundation of MQM Yaum-e-Tashakur
(The Day of Thanks) for Landslide Victory in 2008 Pakistan Election
MQM Canada warmly celebrated the 24th Foundation Day of MQM.
Unit Members, Workers and Office Bearer were gathered in their
respective cities. Big gathering was organized by MQM Canada
Toronto East & West in Mississauga on Sunday the March 16, 2008.
They also took the advantage to celebrate the Yaum-e-Tashakur
(The Day of Thanks) for MQM’s landslide victory in Pakistan
Election 2008.
Caretaker, Acting Central Organizer, Unit in charges, members
Unit committee and workers paid their high tribute to Mr. Altaf
Hussain-Founder and Leader of MQM for his revolutionary ideology
and scarifies for the people of Pakistan.They also renewed their loyalty, faithfulness and firm believe
with MQM. All have shown their full determination to continue
working under true and fearless Leadership of Mr. Altaf Hussain.
Fatiha was rewarded and high tribute was paid to great Martyrs.
At the end all joined the cake cutting ceremony and performed
pray for long live for beloved Leader Mr. Altaf Hussain.
