Senior Minister Finance & Coordination

He has previously served as Chief Secretary of Sindh as well as Commissioner of Karachi.  He has been a long time supporter & and for last few years active worker of MQM.   He has also served as a Financial Advisor to the Chief Minister Sindh during 1997

 

Shoaib Bokhari Advocate

Minister of Planning & Development

He joined MQM in 1989.  Lawyer by profession and has been practicing it for last 22 years.  Four times elected member of Sindh Assembly.  In 1997 he has served as a Minister of Labour, Industries & Transport.  Additionally he also served as Eductional Minister for a short time.  Currently a Deputy Convener of MQM's Coordination Committee and Incharge of MQM's Legal Aid Committee.

 

Shabbir Qaimi

Ministry of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth Affairs

Has has served as a Zonal Organizer of MQM Mirpurkhas.  First time elected as a Member of Sindh Assembly.

 

Muhammad Hussain

Minister of Local Bodies & Katchi Abadis

He has joined APMSO in 1983.  Four times elected member of Sindh Assembly.  During 1990 he has served as a Chairman of Standing Committee for Finance in Sindh Assembly.  In 1997 he has served as Parliamentary Secretary of Finance.  His educational background is B.Com (Hon.) and  is involved in Computer related Profession

Rauf Siddiqui

Minister of Excise & Taxation

Joined MQM in 1988.   Prior to active participation in politics he was involved in numerous socio-welfare projects.  He has been a Chief of "Mohibban-e-Pakistan" for last ten years.  The organization is based in Middle East and actively focus in voicing the issues of Pakistanis residing in the Middle Eastern Countries.

He has a degree in Civil Engineering as well as a Diploma in Architectural Designing.

Additional he is a Poet, writer and columnist.  His first book of Urdu Poetry "Giftar-par-taazeeraiN" has just been published. 

In the recent election he has won from National as well as Provincial Assembly seats but later resigned from National Assembly seat.

 

Adil Siddiqui

Minister of Labour,Transport, Industries and Commerce

He joined MQM in 1986.  He has been actively involved in Socio-Welfare projects before and after joining MQM.  He has a Degree in Public Administration from USA.  He has previously served as Incharge of MQM's Legal Aid  as well as Patient Aid Committees.

He has been recieved special award during Pakistan's 50 Year Jubilee Celebration by Governor of Sindh.

 

Yaqoob Ilyas

Minister of Information Technology

He is Elected on the reserved seats for Minorities.  He has joined MQM in 1987.  First time elected as Member of Sindh Assembly.  By profession he is a Teacher and currently serving as a Principal of a School in Karachi.

 

Aftab Shaikh

Advisor to the CM on Interior & Cooperation

He joined MQM in 1986.  He is a Lawyer by Profession and has served as a Principal of S.M. Law College in Hyderabad.

Currently he is a Deputy Convener of MQM Coordination Committee.

Previously he has served as a first MQM's Mayor of Hyderabad City.   In 1984 he was elected as a Member of Senate.

Brief Introduction

He was born on March 3, 1962 in Karachi. He studied medicine and after completing his MBBS joined Muttahida Qaumi Movement. He contested and won provincial election and served as a minister in the province. Dr Ishratul Ebad is the youngest governor of Sindh
