On behalf of MQM Canada, I would like to express our deep sorrow over the passing away of beloved NDP Leader Jack Layton. I wish to pass our sincere condolence to the family, friends and NDP supporters for this sad and untimely loss. The Canadian politics has indeed been robbed of a genuine and honest politician. We had privilege of meeting with Mr. Layton on several occasions and found him a great human and a loyal political worker. I was very impressed by his hard work and authority on Librarianship. It’s even superfluous to underline how important he has been for the NDPians and Canadian politics and we are all aware that he leaves a great heritage to Canadians, a great human and leadership heritage.
