Members of MQM Canada paid high tribute to the Martyrs of September 30, 1988 in Hyderabad and October 1 in Karachi

Communication & Media Cell; Toronto, October 3rd, 2011; Deputy Parliamentary Leader of MQM in the National Assembly of Pakistan, Syed Haider Abbas Rizvi, Central Organizer of MQM Canada, Iqbal Qamar, Joint Central Organizer, Members Central Organizing Committee, workers, supporters and office-bearers of MQM Canada have paid homage and high tribute to the martyrs of massacre of 30th September 1988 in Hyderabad and 1stOctober 1988 in Karachi. Members recited Quran, Fatiha and performed pray to Almighty Allah to rest souls of brutally killed innocent men, women and children in peace and heaven. They also showed sympathies to their family members and love one.

They said in a joint statement that Members strongly condemned the act of violence and heinous conspiracy that was plotted by enemies of peace to kindle the fire of hatred among the permanent residents of Sindh. They mentioned that 30th September will be remembered in history as Black Day and will never be forgotten. They reiterated that the conspirators would always fail to create a wedge between the people living in the land of Shah Latif.

In the end Senior MQM leader Syed Haider Abbas Rizvi explicated the recent political development after APC resolution and clear stance of MQM that there would be no compromise on the sovereignty of Pakistan.
