Workers, office bearers as well as a large number of supporters of MQM attended the programs, recited Holy Quran and offered Fatiha for the martyrs. Member of MQM Coordination Committee, Tariq Mir joined the session in Toronto while NDP Member of Parliament from Dollard Des Ormaux - Pierrefonds Madam Lysane Blanchette Lamothe exclusively attended the gathering organized by MQM Montreal Chapter. Addressing to the Toronto session, Tariq Mir vigorously appreciated the martyrs of MQM who raised voices and scarified their lives for truth and justice. Their un-decline sacrifices will never be forgotten. Appreciating the organizers and the attendees, Mr. Mir said that observing remembrance days, while living thousands miles away from the country is the eccentricity of only MQM workers. You deserve a “Salute of Appreciation”. Member of Parliament, Madam Lysane Blanchette Lamothe exclusively joined the prayer session in Montreal. In her address she appreciated the sacrifices of Canadian veterans, activists of Pakistan movement and the martyrs of MQM and said that the peace and stability in our lives is only due to the ceaseless struggle and sacrifice of our martyrs. Central Organizer of MQM Canada, Iqbal Qamar appreciated the sacrifices of Martyrs who gave their lives for their struggle against savagery. He further said that MQM is the only organization which provides examples of sacrifices at every level and it proves that every individual belongs to MQM never hesitate in paying any cost for the preaching of the philosophy of Altaf Hussain. There is no doubt in saying that a day will come when the sun of “Haqparasti” will rise and the dream of a common Pakistani for the change of his destiny will come to true.
